Discover Lake Norman, the largest man-made lake in the state. Covers 1,458 acres. Picnic areas, swimming, canoes, rowboats, paddle boats for rent. Group camping facility (tents only). Family tent/trailer area, fishing, hiking trails, boat launch access to Lake Norman. With advance request, educational programs presented by rangers. Free. Fee for camping. (Formerly known as Duke Power State Park)
