25 - 27 Norman Music Festival - Since the festival's inception in 2008, Norman Music Festival has helped elevate local music, showcase diverse voices and introduced touring headliners from around the world to Oklahoma, drawing patrons not only from the Sooner State but increasingly from the surrounding region to witness performances from past headliners like Portugal. The Man, Japanese Breakfast, Beach Fossils, Oh Sees, Omar Apollo, Ty Segall, Soccer Mommy, Dirty Projectors, Leon Russell, Black Milk and more.

30 - 1 Annual Cleveland County Free Fair - The local county fair is a staple for many families across the nation, and Cleveland County is no exception. From the carnival and crafts and food to livestock and games, there’s something for everyone. Stick horse races, baby crawls, petting zoo, power lifting, wiener dog race and wiener dog costume contest are particularly entertaining, whether you want to be a participant or an audience member cheering someone on. Local bands provide entertainment. First weekend in September.
