We have described in detail some 20 leisure bike routes in Watauga County in the North Carolina Blue Ridge. The rides range from 1.0 to 5.0 in challenge ratings, they are supported by National Geographic Society TOPO maps and elevation profiles, as well as by a range of glossy photos depicting physical and cultural landscapes. We are intending to reach biking families and individuals interested in the slower and sightseeing pace of scenic road biking.
