Located in turn-of-the-century home of W.W. Kitchin, governor of state (1809-1813). Museum complex includes 6 buildings with exhibits in each: the Kitchin Home, Woodsdale General Store, Dr. John H. Merrit's office, The Male Academy/Parsonage, a Subscription School and a tobacco barn.
