Wahkeena, named with an Indian word meaning most beautiful, is located on the edge of the Hocking Hills. This 150-acre outdoor education area is used for nature study and as a nature preserve. The site was bequeathed to Ohio Historical Society by Carmen Warner, who used it as a summer home.
