Ross-Chillicothe CVB The Ross County area is nestled in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountain chain. The county is surrounded by four state parks offering the area with numerous opportunities for outdoor recreation. Chillicothe, Ohio's 1st and 3rd Capital, is the county seat offering first class dining, retail, accommodations and year-round special events. In Ross County, history is combined with scenic beauty and nationally know entertainment. The Ross-Chillicothe Convention and Visitors Bureau is a non-profit organization created to promote tourism in the Ross County area. We have a main office at 45 East Main Street.
