Nestled in the downtown Fort Gibson area, where Poplar Street meets Lee Street, car enthusiast of all ages come to show and look at hundreds of the best cars around. Don't forget about the Burn Out and Loud Pipe Contest, Located on Ross Street, burning tires is what its all about. There will be many vendors to shop from and food trucks with the best food this side of Oklahoma. Fun for the whole family! Please call or stop by the chamber for more information on registration.

Sequoyah was born in the lower Appalachian region of Tennessee about 1770. His mother was a member of the "Paint Clan" of the Cherokee Nation and his non-Indian father, Nathaniel Gist, left the family when Sequoyah was very young. Sequoyah grew to manhood among his kinsmen, the Cherokees.
