Sayre City Park The Sayre City Park offers an abundance of activities all within a half-mile radius, such as a well maintained nine-hole golf course with cart rentals available, an 18-hole miniature golf course and snack bar, swimming pool, lighted tennis courts, lighted sand volleyball court, and basketball goals. The park also features a modern lighted softball field and a lighted Little League field that are both used extensively during the summer months.

Camping - Other outstanding assets of the park are camping facilities with over 125 RV hookups, a dump station, playgrounds, picnic tables, a large old-fashioned gazebo, and a large City Park Pondspavilion for group activities.

Fish Ponds - The park has three stocked fishing ponds widely used by children and adults alike all surrounded by a lighted walking trail.

Rodeo Arena - The park's lighted rodeo arena and spectators stands are busy with rodeos and playdays almost every weekend through the summer and draws cowboys and cowgirls and fans from all over the country.

Shortgrass Country Museum and Historical Society

The Shortgrass Country Museum is one of the important historical landmarks of Sayre. In 1930 the Rock Island Depot was moved from its original site to the center of downtown.
