Event Details

Kids 18 and under come out to Lake Florence at Heritage Park and reel in the big one. Catch a fish with a tag and bring it to the Parks and Recreation canopy to win a prize. The fisherman with the heaviest catch of the night wins the grand prize.

Food vendors will be present so be sure to bring extra money.

The Florence Woman's Club grew from the original Florence Village Improvement Club, organized in 1897 to improve and beautify the town of Florence. Members paid 25 cents a year to Mrs. T.F Weedin to keep the club's rake under her porch.
