Kicker Country Stampede Music and Camping Festival

The Midwest's largest 3-day country music and camping festival in the heartland, Kicker Country Stampede brings in over 20 artists and a first-class lineup of today's top national entertainers while more than 100,000 fans embark on Topeka for the event.

Country Stampede won the coveted 2014 Governor’s Outstanding Tourism Event award in the State of Kansas, along with countless other awards over the years. Television shows such as The CMT Top 20 Countdown, Ellen, The Outdoor Channel, and several other popular television shows have filmed and broadcast live from the festival.

The French-Norman style house which was built by Frank P. MacLennan in 1928, is home to the governor of Kansas. It is the focal point of a 200-acre estate overlooking the Kansas river. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the estate features several ponds and hiking trails.
