2-Person chapman 8:00am SG; Fee includes greens fee, golf cart, range balls, drink tickets, Hole prizes, flight prizes and a taco buffet following the round. Prepay and save $5! Must register by Friday May 31st @ 5:00pm. All golfers welcome!

Syracuse Houses
The two frame houses are known as the Syracuse Houses because they were designed in 1855 by E.V. Carr, a prominent architect from Syracuse, New York. Lt. Colonel George Custer and his wife lived in one of these houses for a few months in 1868.

In the 1830s, settlers heading for the Oregon and Santa Fe Trails crossed the Missouri River at this point. Teams of oxen pulled the loaded wagons through the "cut " in the hillside you can still see today.

These beautiful artifacts of bygone wars remain a mystery at Fort Leavenworth. They were cast in the 1700s in Paris; the name of the foundryman and place and date of manufacture are on each piece. How or why they came to Leavenworth is unknown.
