Event Details

Businesses, civic organizations, and individuals participate in a chili cooking competition every September. People that attend the event sample and judge the chili and award the top choices with prizes. Tasting kits are available for sampling and a carnival with games helps keep the children busy and excited. The streets are blocked for accessibility and safety for individuals.
