Moonshell Storytelling Festival

Nebraska StoryArts presents the annual Moonshell Storytelling Festival with four outstanding national and regional storytellers who will take part in a daylong celebration to preserve the art of storytelling. 10:30 a.m. - 9:30 p.m.

The festival will offer storytelling concerts geared toward families and will conclude with ghost stories in the evening. Back by popular demand, the festival also will feature story swaps tellers of all ages and storytelling workshops for the whole family. All storytelling performances are free with a $4 park admission. Workshop admission is charged. It's a great family event.

Storytelling workshops, for people interested in learning more about how to tell a good story, are back by popular demand. Workshops will be offered by Syd Lieberman - Take Two Stories and Call Me in the Morning: the Healing Power of Story - and Michael McCarty - Bringing Storybooks to Life. The workshops are $40 and will be held in a conference room in the main lodge.
