Join kite fliers and sand sculptors from around the nation for one of the most unique family events in the USA. The white sand beaches at Lake McConaughy are perfect for a sand castle building contest and kite flying. There's no entry fee and there are events for all skills and ages. Special categories for youth and families.
Held the last Saturday in July, the day ends with a concert and barbecue.
