Agate Lake is a reservoir that is 13 miles northeast of Medford,Oregon. It covers 216 acres and has approximately 3 miles of shoreline. Its waters are used for irrigation so water level can fluctuate as much as 25 feet throughout the year. Its maximum depth averages 72 feet.

Electric and non-motorized craft are allowed on the lake.

Bass fishing is very popular at this lake. Largemouth bass fishing is the most popular fish at Agate Lake, and the lake is stocked to maintain a healthy bass population.

While largemouth bass are the primary focus, Agate Lake may also support populations of other fish species, such as bluegill, crappie, yellow perch, and brown bullhead and catfish. These species can provide additional opportunities for anglers, especially those looking for a variety of fishing experiences.
