Event Details

Parade and Activities to honor those who have bravely served our country! 10:00 AM to 03:00 PM. Famous for their patriotism on Veteran's Day- Eskridge knows how to honor their veteran's through a special event!

9:00 am: A complimenary breakfast of sweet rolls, juice and coffee will be served by the Golden Living Center

9:30: Parade registration at Golden Living Center - (everyone is invited to be in the parade)

10:00 am: Flag Raising at Golden Living Center

Parade through town to the Eskridge City Park

At the City Park: Formal Flag Raising Ceremony, music & prayer

Awards: for Veterans and Children's contest winners

1st Sustainment Brigade (out of Ft. Riley) will judge the essay contest

US Navy Jr. ROTC (Shawnee Heights) will judge the coloring contest

US Air Force Jr. ROTC (Highland Park) will judge the drawing contest

Guest Speakers and Ceremonial Flag Retirement (if you have an old flag please bring them)

Complementary lunch will be served following the ceremonies in the Eskride PRIDE Community Center
