Event Details

Rodeo week in Woodward is more than just ridin', ropin', and rasslin' the animals. While the famous "white shirts" of the Woodward Elks rodeo committee work long hours making each year's rodeo better than the last, the entire community gets involved with barbecues, hamburger feeds, parades, dancing and three nights of the best boot scootin' music to be found anywhere! 7:30 PM.

The Woodward Elks Rodeo is the state's longest continuous PRCA rodeo. Legends come to the Woodward Elks rodeo. Names like Donnie Gay, Larry Mahan, Hawkey Henson, Ty Murray, Guy Allen and more have competed (and usually won) events at the rodeo.

Dubbed the toughest rodeo in Oklahoma, the Woodward Elks Rodeo features bareback riding, bull riding, calf roping, barrel racing, saddle bronco riding, steer wrestling, team roping, steer roping, and wrangler bull fights.
