19 Williams Station Day - A family-oriented festival celebrating Atmore's founding in 1866 as a supply stop along the Mobile and Great Northern railroad. Arts and crafts show, blues on the center stage, old-time cane mill, fiddler's tent, storytelling tent and food. 4th Saturday of October.

21 - 22 Annual Thanksgiving Pow Wow - Celebrate Thanksgiving this year with the Poarch Creek Indians and a return to our heritage. Each year, tribal members gather on this original Creek land for their annual Pow Wow. You're invited to join in the festivities. Enjoy a brilliant display of authentic dress and exhibition dancing by Tribes from throughout the country. Watch the crowning of next year's Princess and shop from the more than 100 craft booths for crafts, quilts and other keepsakes. Feast on Bar-B-Q and corn roasted over oak wood fires on open pit grills. Community churches join in the festivities by providing traditional turkey and dressing dinners, ham and fried chicken plates. Other choices abound for smaller appetites.

7 Atmore's Twilight Christmas Parade - Atmore's beloved Twilight Christmas Parade begins at 5:30 pm where residents and visitors alike are treated to a dazzling display of lighted floats, antique cars, twirlers, bands, walkers, fire trucks & more! And, don't forget to watch for Santa Claus at the end of the parade. The procession begins from downtown Atmore (near Ridgeley Street) and travels along Main Street to Lindberg Avenue.
