WELCOME TO THE CHANDLER ROUTE 66 INTERPRETIVE CENTER ... "a whole new meaning for the term REST STOP"

You will be delighted to experience our unique and nostalgic trip down 'THE MOTHER ROAD'. The history is a tale told from an interesting array of videos portraying Oklahoma's huge part in the sights and sounds along the way - Model A Ford seats, WWII Jeep seats, as well as '64 Mustang seats, and even a couple of beds to relax upon, are a perfect way to enjoy your special journey.

We have Route 66 travel information from Chicago to Los Angeles to further entertain and educate. Our gift shop features especially talented local suppliers & Native American artistic craftsmanship.

People of all ages will want to return again and again as we will change and grow with the Internationally Famous & Fascinating Route 66!

Route 66 Gas Station

On the north end of the business district, look for the peaked roof of the vintage 1930's Phillips 66 station. Although no longer in use, the building reminds us of travel down the historic Route 66 which runs through downtown Chandler.

Chandler Lake is the smaller of the two lakes in Chandler.

The lake offers excellent fishing while being adjacent to the Chandler Municipal Golf Course. There is plenty of parking and it does provide aboat ramp.
