Wilson, Kansas

This huge limestone post with the engraved words "Post Rock Country" is the largest post rock in Kansas. In it's entirety the slab is 24 feet long , 6 feet buried in the ground for support and 18 feet above the ground level. The gigantic post weighs just 50 pounds less than two tons. The limestone that was used to make it was quarried just northeast of Wilson in Sylvan Grove by the Vonada family.
