A 1911 old post office on Main Street is home to Arts United for Davidson County, a sponsoring organization for activities in the performing, literary and visual arts. The Arts Center houses two galleries, class space, and the Artifacts Gift Shop with work by area artists. The building is beautiful, with a restored lobby ornamented with classical details.
