Brooks Air Force Base was founded in 1918 and the scene of history's first mass paratroop drop. It includes USAS School of Aerospace Medicine, Air Force Medical Support Agency, the Air Force Center for Environmental Excellence, among others. It is a blending of scientific medical, environmental, acquisition and instructional expertise.
