In addition to a full program of Legend Car and Bandolero racing, the Summer Shootout Series includes special attractions, such as school bus race nights and a huge Fireworks Extravaganza Night! 8 NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race - NASCAR Sprint Cup Series. 7:30pm. The stars of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series do battle on stock car racing’s all-star night at Charlotte Motor Speedway. The sparks will fly in this checkers or wreckers non-points event.

In addition, the top two finishers from the Sprint Showdown and the Sprint Fan Vote winner will be added to the field, plus any additional drivers who wins a Sprint Cup Series race prior to the NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race.

16 Coca-Cola 600 - The longest NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series race and in fact is the longest regularly-scheduled automobile race conducted on an oval track anywhere in the world. The stars of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series do battle in stock car racing’s true endurance test. Don’t miss the patriotic pre-race salute to the U.S. armed forces, which will include an air parade featuring at least 10 vintage war birds, a patriotic flyover and an American bald eagle circling the infield during the National Anthem.

10 Hispanic Learning Center's International Festival - We are happy to announce the annual International Festival held in Concord, North Carolina on Sunday from 12:00 pm until 6:00 pm. Hosted by the HLC, this free festival will feature music, games, ethnic food, fun, and interesting activities for people of all ages. The location will be in the Heart of Concord primarily on Union Street situated between Cabarrus Avenue and Corbin Avenue. Proceeds from this event will go to help support the Hispanic Learning Center of Cabarrus County. The HLC is a non-profit center for community improvement that targets primarily low income/poverty Hispanic people but is open to anyone with a desire to improve their learning.
