21 - 22 Two Flags Festival of the Arts - Music, artists and craftspeople with demonstrations and hands-on activities for kids, food, hayride tour of historical buildings. In conjunction with the Cochise County Cycling Classic. Sat, 10a-7p; Sun, 12-5p.

21 Cochise County Cycling Classic - Starting in the early 1990's The Perimeter Bicycling Association of America, Inc. www.pbaa.com has put on the Cochise County Cycling Classic. This is another fundraiser that benefits Douglas ARC. This is billed as "America's Longest Perimeter Bicycling Event" there are five different events to choose from. 252, 185, 157, 92 and 45-mile routes are offered (check for closed routes some years). Each of these events starts in Douglas, AZ. and makes a loop around the beautiful terrain of Cochise County and returns to Douglas. Cyclists from all over the country come to participate in this cycling classic. Tax deducible contributions from the four events are collected for Douglas ARC. The success over the past 8 years have been a tremendous asset to the Douglas ARC and the city of Douglas. with over one hundred riders and support teams have put Douglas on the map in the bicycle community.

Cyclists may select routes all routed through beautiful southeastern Arizona. There is even a 4-mile Fun Ride, open to all abilities! Cochise Classic is the perfect Fall event for cyclists.

Participants may experience a variety of conditions out on event routes, from beautiful blue skies, to thunder, lightning, windy conditions and even an amazing desert rainbow! Just be prepared to have fun in the adventure!
