6 - 7 Christmas in Genoa - The Christmas season is a special time here in Genoa. Residents and visitors alike gather to celebrate and help spread some cheer. We kick off the season with our Christmas in Genoa Caroling and Tree-lighting event. Held the Friday evening before our Breakfast with Santa, attendees at this free event gather for some classic Christmas Caroling at the Genoa Town Church before heading down to "Hope's Tree" at the corner of Genoa and Main St. for the official lighting of the tree and some tasty refreshments.

Genoa sponsors a visit from Santa along with a Pancake Breakfast for the whole family! Breakfast consists of pancakes with syrup, sausage, breakfast beverages and, best of all, a visit from Santa Claus himself! The breakfast has three seatings — 8:30 a.m., 9:45 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. This is the perfect family-friendly event for the little ones to celebrate the holiday. Tickets for the event are $5.00 and must be purchased through the Town Office ahead of the event — tickets are available starting in November. Seating is limited and tickets go fast!
