Event Details

Make plans to come to New Mexico for the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta! Once a tiny gathering of 13 balloons in 1972, the fiesta has grown to become the largest balloon event in the world. You'll be one of hundreds of thousands of people who get up before dawn to watch the "Mass Ascension," close to 1,000 balloons defying gravity at once. It's nine day celebration of color and thrill honoring the world's oldest aviation sport. Don't miss the Discovery Center, an educational facility full of interactive exhibits, including a hot-air balloon basket where you can simulate flight. The historical display will show you the growth of this event over the years, the featured speakers will mesmerize you with their ballooning tales, and the tissue paper classes will teach you how to build your own hot air balloon.

Advance tickets are available now in packs of 5 as a Five Event Ticket for $20 ($5 discount). The All Event Ticket for $50, a General Parking Pass for $25 and a Preferred Parking Pass for $45 will be available soon.
