Performing Arts The arts flourish in Joplin. Missouri Southern State college is host to many
events, from a formal ballet or musical performance in Taylor Auditorium to a lighthearted "Pops" concert on the college's grounds. At the quaint Joplin Little Theatre, drama and comedy are performed by local residents. This and more prove you don't have to drive to the big city to find great entertainment.
