Miss Emma has expanded her space to include hand-made Chase County gifts of all kinds, soft-serve ice cream, homemade fudge, and Miss Emma's own line of JAMS and JELLIES, SPICES and PICKLES, canned by Miss Emma and the staff at the Emma Chase Cafe. Enjoy canned items like your Grandma used to make.

Cottonwood River Dam & Bridge

Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985, the area at the Cottonwood Dam is a place to enjoy watching the fishing for catfish on the bridge. Stop and listen to the relaxing sound of the falls. North of the river is Bates Grove Park which offers picnic facilities.

The building that houses the Chase County Historical Society Museum and Library is one of 9 places in Chase County which has been entered on the National Register of Historic Places. The two story building, constructed of native stone, was built in 1882

The Roniger Brothers, Frank and George, were born in Highland, Madison County, Illinois. They came to Chase County, Kansas, in 1885.

The museum was built to house the Roniger collection of Indian artifacts and other Chase County historical articles and artifacts.
