Come and Rock on the Porch! The Barker House, 1782, was home of Thomas and Penelope Barker. Penelope presided over the famous Edenton Tea Party, 1774. Enjoy our bookshop, featuring books on the historical, cultural and economic importance of North Carolina. Open to visitors Mon - Sat 10 am - 4 pm and Sun 1 - 4 pm
