This years event is being held in memory of Ian Patrick Stroupe. Ian passed away on March 10, 2006 from a CHD called "Teratology of Fallot with Pulmonary Atresia."
The Congenital Heart Defect Awareness Quilt Project was created to promote greater public awareness of CHD, while honoring the strength, courage, and commitment of all those born with a CHD and their families.
