15 St. Pat's Parade - Tonganoxie goes Green every year to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. 2023 was the 35-year celebration of this annual event. The parade is entirely volunteer run and needs your help! 7KS0502014e009 - Tonganoxie The Jefferson's Foundation Cars & Kickstands 4 Kids Car Show - The Jefferson's Foundation is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to better the lives of children and youth in need. Registration is 9:00 a.m. to noon. Judging will begin at 1:00 pm with awards at 4:00 pm. Categories are: Specialty Awards, Kids Award, Top 50 awards. We will have raffle items, food and motor blow and car bash. ALL PROCEEDS earned will go to help better the lives of children and teens. Register your car/motor cycle and receive 2 free drinks the day of the show and 10 free chicken wings on your next visit to Jefferson's.

25 Spooktacular - Every year, on the Friday before Halloween, children and their families can visit Tonganoxie businesses on 4th Street for Halloween treats and some family fun.

There is a scarecrow-decorating contest, a prize raffle, a pumpkin-carving contest, and a live DJ to supply the music.

16 Mayor's Christmas Tree Lighting - The Mayor’s Christmas Tree lighting is a free event in downtown Tonganoxie. Visitors can enjoy carolers dressed in traditional garments circa 1900, carriage rides, baked goodies and hot cocoa while watching the Mayor light the 10-foot tree at 4th Street between Bury and Green. This event typically occurs the Saturday before each Thanksgiving in downtown Tonganoxie.
