24 - 25 The University of Mary Jazz Festival - Each year at the end of January, the Music Department presents the annual University of Mary Jazz Festival - bringing hundreds of students from across the region to campus. Over the years, our ensembles have shared the stage with world-renowned guest artists, including Jeff Coffin, Don Ellis, Jon Faddis, Kevin Mahogany, Tom "Bones" Malone, Bob Mintzer, Terrell Stafford, Nestor Torez, Bill Watrous, Kenny Werner, and The New York Voices. Bringing artists to campus allows our student musicians the opportunity to perform alongside and learn from some of the world's best jazz performers and educators.

11 - 12 KFYR Radio Agri-International - The annual event draws thousands. It's considered a marketplace where farmers, ranchers and agri-businesses meet. Nearly 400 exhibit booths fill the Civic Center and Exhibition Hall. There are a number of seminars, educational programs and other activities. Some of the special features this year include equipment demonstrations, ag equipment and products, stock dog demonstration, horse clinic, living ag classroom and a toy show. Information will also be available for such markets as hobby farms, ranchettes and suburban acreages.

2 - 3 Capital A Fair - Capital A'Fair is one of the areas largest summer art fair. It features over 130 artisans from across the country and attracts thousands of local and regional visitors. 5 - 7 United Tribes International PowWow - Contest powwow attracts hundreds of American Indian dancers, drum groups, showcase of American Indian culture, home of the champions. The annual International PowWow is a celebration showcasing "champion" dancers and drums from across the U.S. and Canada, competing for top honors.

12 - 13 Downtown Street Fair - Street Fair brings together 180 Arts, Craft, and Food Vendors to Downtown Bismarck for two days of fun. Roads in the Street Fair area will be closed after 5pm on Thursday. In addition to the great vendors, there is the Monster Mural Kid's Art Activity (sponsored by Sam’s Club), JT's Inflatable Games, The Barrel Train, and local musicians playing at the Busker’s Corner (sponsored by American Bank Center). The Downtowners Street Fair is also a long standing fundraiser for the Downtowners Association and numerous service groups, churches, booster clubs, boy scout troops, and area non-profits through vending activities. Parking is available in the convenient Downtown Ramps.
