13 Chunnenuggee Fair - Fair with musical entertainment. food and lots of arts and crafts in front of the historic Second Empire-style Bullock County Courthouse. The Chunnenuggee Fair is a modern continuation of the pre-Civil War festival that was originally hosted by the oldest horticultural society in the United States, the Chunnenuggee Garden Club. The 19th Century Fair boasted a large exhibit of horticultural advancements of the time and the best cakes in the community. The modern fair tries to emulate the old by including a cake sale with cakes made by bakers of local renown, and sales and raffles of plants from the surrounding plant producers.
