Verrückt -- World's Tallest Waterslide!

category : Water Parks
Verrückt -- World's Tallest Waterslide! Verrückt, the World's Tallest Waterslide opening in 2014 to guests of Schlitterbahn Waterpark Kansas City, was officially verified by Guinness World Records prior to its opening. The Verrückt stands at a record-breaking height of 168 ft 7 in.

After the initial, nearly vertical drop of 168 feet, riders then zoom up a five-story hill, and then sent down yet another gut wrenching 50 foot drop for the ultimate in water slide thrills!. Top speeds are expected to hit 65 mph.

For those needing a brief in German, verrückt translates as "insane." A fitting adjective for a ride that drops you from a height taller than Niagara Falls.

Important Ride Requirements:

2-3 riders per raft with a combined weight between 400 and 550 pounds. Riders will have to be at least 54" tall.

If you can't make the Verrückt requirements, do come and enjoy the other rides and rivers and tube rides and kids areas at Schlitterbahn Waterpark while you watch your insane friends take the plunge!
