Sweetapple Farm Market
- Hosting children at the farm is a great way for us to share our farming experiences with future generations! We provide a fun and educational excursion for elementary schools, preschools, day-care groups and playgroups. Most tours include the following and can be tailored to meet your groups' needs: The hayride consists of a drive through the pasture to feed the milk cows, to learn about the different breeds of dairy cows and more! Milk our famous "Sweetapple" the cow, and view posters, exhibits and more NEW farm games to learn about agriculture and olde time fun! There are many picture sites – from tractors to American Gothic and more and more! Our expanded garden areas are fun to smell, touch and just admire! Visitors will learn about why plants give off scents, how they grow, and what the difference is between a plant and a weed! Visit and learn about the animals in the Kestermeier Cattle Barn – including Buddy the Goat and more! Food is available at different times of the year for different events. We will list details of food items as time permits! Most of the time you can get a cold soda and snack. In autumn, you can get coffee, hot chocolate, cappuccino, and more! Address: Sweetapple Farm |
