Annual Yadkinville Bluegrass Contest & Fiddlers Convention
- The contest features some of the best in local and regional talent. Winners are determined by a panel of judges who are knowledgeable in the area of bluegrass music. Third Saturday of April. Bands are judged on items such as timing, choice of material, accuracy, and appearance. Ole Time Fourth of July
- The 4th of July Celebration events will begin at 5:00 p.m. with the Parade in Downtown Yadkinville followed by a concert from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. with Stan Bobbitt (Oldies & Gospel) and Fireworks at 9:30 p.m. Food and Snacks will be provided by the Yadkin Civitan Club. - The Suzuki Grand National Cross Country Series is the largest off-road racing series in the nation. Off-road racing is one of the most physically demanding sports in the world, and the nearly three-hour long GNCC races lead dirt bike and ATV racers through tracks ranging from eight to twelve miles.
