The Plains Indians and Pioneers Museum The Plains Indians and Pioneers Museum offers a walk on the wild side with Lawyer/Gunfighter, Temple Lea Houston - Sam Houston's youngest offspring. Temple's office is complete with his desk, chair, Mexican sombrero and classical library.

See also, the Sam and Margaret Lea Houston china tea set, circa 1840. Only in May, view our "Federal Eagle" quilt, an 1830s original design done entirely in reverse applique and quilted 16 to 20 stitches per inch.

View interpretive exhibits on the Area's Native Americans. Travel back in time with a visit to our Lee/Lienemann homesteader's cabin with stable attached. See our history interpreted through the Murals of Fred Olds, Jana Sol, Paul Laune, and Pat (Kemoha) Patterson.

Visit our Anna Lorry Williams Gallery where we offer a series of 12 different art shows and/or art competitions annually.

Don't miss our gift shop and the Northwest Oklahoma Traveler Information Center also housed in the museum complex.
