Event Details

During Dala Days, “Dala Horses” will be on display throughout Holdrege. The Dala Horse is a popular souvenir and recognized as an unofficial symbol of Sweden. Shoppers have the chance to win $100 in Chamber Bucks by shopping at participating businesses from June 1 through June 18.

A Dala Days card will be given to customers at participating businesses, which is stamped when purchases are made. After $100 of purchases the card can be filled out and entered in the drawing. Each business will have a box for them to be placed in or they can be dropped off at the Chamber office.

Winners will be announced during the Swedish Days Parade. All winners will receive $100 in Chamber Bucks which they can pick up at the announcer’s stand immediately following the parade or at My Fair Lady’s Fashions/Americana Plus. Unclaimed winners will be notified the following week, and Chamber Bucks can be picked up at the Chamber office.
