The Arizona Cactus & Succulent Research is the home of an extensive botanical garden countaining representative samples of over 800 varieties of high desert plant life including threatened and endangered plants. Serving as a giant outdoor classroom to schools, tourists and residents alike, guided tours are available at all times. Classes on landscaping with desert plants are featured. An extensive library of books, reports, photos and monographs is maintained on the premises.
