28Easter Pictures and Vendor Event at the Whiteley Opera House - The Bonaparte Independence Day committee will host this Easter Event from 9:00 am until 5:00pm with a variety of venders that will set up with items from Pampered Chef, Pink Zebra, 31 bags, Paparazzi, Wildtree, Jamberry Nails, It works, Lia Sophia Jewelry, Ace, Scentsy, Origami Owl Jewelry, Every Home, Homemade Aprons, Jellies, Wood Crafts, Searves and Shawls and more.

A Professional Photographer will be Taking Pictures of Kids with Real Bunnies and Baby Chicks From 1 pm to 5 pm. Photos Printed on site that Day, $10 Dollars for the First Sheet, $5 dollars for each after that and $30 for a CD. Can Book Appointments or walk-ins welcome.

23 - 25Spring Festival Sales Event - Large Selection of vendors with a variety of products will be setup all weekend and we will also be serving food in the bank shell to raise money for this year’s fireworks. Hours 9am to 5pm.

20Annual Daniel Christy Memorial Motorcycle Show - Held in memory of local resident, Daniel Christy, this bike show features 11 classes with 1st - 3rd place trophies awarded in each class and a Best of Show winner. There will be a 100 mile poker run following the trophy presentation, last bike out by 2:30 pm. This event raises money for the Daniel Christy Memorial Scholarship for a student to attend SCC for a degree in Tool & Dye.

26 - 27Bonaparte's American Heritage Celebration - Held in downtown Bonaparte. Schedule of Events: 12:00 pm Veterans Opening Flag Ceremony with Native Americans; 12:15 pm (throughout the day) Native American drumming, dancing & storytelling; Dan Barth Medicine Man Show at 1:30 pm and shows hourly after that in front of the Addie May Fudge Factory; 2 pm Dog Show & 3 on 3 Volleyball Tournament (held at boat dock area, check in at 1:30 pm); 4:30 pm Sanctioned Pedal Tractor Pulls; 5:00 pm Parade; 5:30 pm Maidrite Supper (served by American Legion Post); 6:00 pm 2nd Annual Southside Rodeo at Eagleview Arena; 8:00 pm The Harvest Band in the City Park Bandshell; Fireworks at Dusk; Street Dance after Fireworks.

We will have a large variety of vendors setup in the park Friday and Saturday from 1pm to 9pm.

2Annual Off the Road Antique Appraisal Show - Bring your antiques & collectibles to the historic Bonaparte Opera House from 1 - 4 pm. Appraisers from the area will be there to appraise your treasures. Fee: $6 per item or $15 for 3 items. Items (only 3 per person please) will be viewed on a first come, first served basis with the Opera House opening at noon.

12Annual Taste of Chocolate - Held in the historic Whitely Opera House in downtown Bonaparte from 1 p.m. - 4 p.m. This event offers over 400 pounds of homemade chocolate confections (fudges, cheesecakes, cookies, brownies, chocolate dipped items, & more) in bite size pieces displayed for you to indulge in creating your own special box of goodies to take home and enjoy! The cost is $9 per pound. Wine tasting from area wineries will also be available for you to sample and/or purchase wine to take home.

10 - 11Scenic Drive Festival - The Scenic Drive Festival is our largest festival of the year that is held during the peak of our spectacular fall foliage season, the second full weekend of October.

Bonaparte will have their streets lined with antique, craft & art vendors both Saturday & Sunday 10am-5pm. Dan Barth's Medicine Man Show will be held at 10am & 1pm at Addie May Fudge Factory. No admission fee. The Olive Branch, with unique gifts & collectibles for all occasions, will be open from 9am-5pm. On Saturday only, enjoy a Soup Luncheon from 11am-1pm at the Opera House on Main St. A maid-rite lunch will be served at the Fire Station from 11am-2pm and a Ribeye or Pork Chop Dinner will be served at 5pm at the Fire Station. On Sunday enjoy a Soup Luncheon at the Opera House from 11am-2pm or a Sandwich Lunch at the Fire Station from 11am-2pm.
