Overbrook-Osage County Fair

Event Details

The biggest public event each year is the Overbrook-Osage County Fair. The fair is primarily an agricultural exhibition featuring livestock, crops, and local crafts and hobbies. It includes a midway of carnival rides and other attractions. The Overbrook Fair Association owns the fairgrounds and manages the fair.

The Wakarusa River Valley Heritage Museum has a small but rich collection of local memorabilia including exhibits on the original African-American settlements in the area, the "Border Wars" and the Underground Railroad that passed through the area.
