Event Details

Every year on Halloween Evening the Chetopa Chamber of Commerce sponsors a HUGE pumpkin parade. With around 300 kids attending every year the Old School Gym is packed with trick or treaters. While every child 6th grade and younger will leave with their treat bags filled with all sorts of goodies, there is also a costume contest with the chance to win much bigger prizes.
Immediately following the Pumpkin Parade be sure to head on out to the "Be Safe" Halloween sponsored by the Chetopa Police Department. Here you will find free hot dogs and pop, hay rides, & a spooktacular maze.

Stone House Gallery

Built in 1872, the Stone House was one of Fredonia's early residences and is a State of Kansas Historic Site. Today, it is the home of the Fredonia Arts Council.
