Event Details

Vendors will have supplies for spinning, weaving, knitting, and others fiber arts, as well as raw and processed fibers from wool to bison. Last year there were 70+ vendors. Workshops ranging from two to six hours will be held both days and may include spinning, weaving, knitting, and fiber dyeing.

Mishler Weaving Mill

The Mishler Weaving Mill is a textile weaving mill using original looms, the oldest of which dates from 1895. One rug loom is an 1860 rocker beater barn beam loom. The Mill is owned and operated by member-volunteers of the Smithville Community Historical Society. Items woven include:
