The Oil Museum tells the story of oil from formations deep in the earth to it's recovery, processing and use. Many pieces of equipment used in the process over the years are on display.

The Hill City Chamber of Commerce Office is located at the Oil Museum. The Chamber of Commerce office hours are Tuesday 9:00-12:00, Wednesday 9:00-12:00 and Thursday 9:00-1:00. Stop by during office hours for a tour, or call to schedule an appointment.

Nicodemus

Nicodemus is the only remaining all African-American pioneer town west of the Mississippi. It was established in 1877 by ex-slaves from Kentucky and Tennesse. In 1976 it was designated as a National Historical Landmark and is currently under consideration for inclusion in the National Park system.
