This 12,000 square foot facility located on the banks of the Mississippi River is dedicated to telling the story of the river. The museum features more than 20 exhibits and displays, many of which are highly interactive and computer-animated.

Known as the "Father of Waters", the Mississippi River drains 32 US States and 2 Canadian provinces. Near St. Louis, Missouri, the US Army Corps of Engineers Rivers Project manages 300 miles of the Mississippi from Cairo, IL to Saverton, MO and the lower 80 miles of the Illinois River covering nearly 100,000 acres of land and water.
