Event Details

Three full days of entertainment, three parades, contests, Best "Wurst" Bike Ride, craft show, art show, queens pageant, Speakeasy Production, amusement rides, polka tent, lots of grilled bratwurst and other foods. Bucyrus is the Bratwurst Capital of America and this is known as Ohio's "Eattingest"  Festival. Always held on the full third weekend of August.

American Crossroads Mural

American Crossroads Mural was painted in our downtown area by Artist Eric Grohe of Marysville, Washington in 1999.  This mural depicts the Bucyrus downtown area of yesterday and tells some of the story of persons in Bucyrus.

Grass Run Alpacas

The Grass Run Alpaca Farm is an enjoyable stop to see the fuzzy alpacas and hear the interesting story about raising them and the many uses for their hair.  There is always an alpaca brought to the building so you can pet and make over it.
