Big Bend Ranch Rodeo
- Local ranch cowboys compete for cash and prizes in bronc riding, team doctoring, wild cow milking, team branding and team penning. Begins at 1 p.m. Admission is $5 for adults and free for children younger than age 12.

|12 - 14||NIRA - Students from colleges and universities across the Southwest compete in bareback riding, calf roping, steer wrestling, saddle bronc riding, team roping, bull riding, breakaway roping, barrel racing and goat typing.|
Heaven to Hell Ride
- Offers an introduction to the Big Bend for those who do not know its many splendored routes. Takes motorcyclists along 350 miles of mountain trails, from Alpine through the Chihuahuan Desert, paralleling the Rio Grande west to Presidio, to Marfa and the Davis Mountains, back to Alpine and then to Marathon. Preregistration is required.
