15 - 17 Clark County Fair - Some of the Clark County Fair events include a free-will donation BBQ, new this year is the Buy-in, Buy-out, a cow/calf class, bred heifer class, and first calf heifer class. The annual softball tournament will be held Friday evening. The Fair will conclude with the Annual Clark County Rodeo! We invite everyone to wear your pink to show your support for finding a cure for cancer.

21 Red Dirt Country B.B.Q. Cook-off !! - RDC BBQ Contest

Red Dirt Country BBQ Contest will start at 4 pm on Friday, July 21st, 2017 in Ashland, KS. The entry fee will be $100. The meats will be provided and we will pay the top three places (minimum). There is over $1,000.00 in prize money for the winners. The competition will consist of cooking 3 meats and 1 gallon of beans. The judging will be in the Ashland Community Center at 11:00am and 11:30am Saturday, July 23rd, 2016. All entries are due.

Following the judging, the public will be able to try a 4oz serving of the wonderful food cooked by the contestants for lunch.

The Public will be charged $10.00 per plate.
