Table Rock, Nebraska

St. John's Catholic Church, built in 1877, has recently been restored to its original color. The unique and beautiful murals thoughout the interior were painted by a Russian refugee nearly 50 years ago. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, this little frame church is one of the oldest in Nebraska, and exhibits stained glass windows and many sacred relics. The church is part of Table Rock's unique museum complex of seven downtown buildings.

Table Rock Archaeological Site

The Table Rock Site, located near the town of Table Rock, is one of only a few documented late prehistoric earthlodge villages in the Nemaha basin. Artifacts recovered at the site reflect influences from Central Plains Tradition (A.D.900-1450) culture.
