Schuetzen Park Historic Site

This site holds many special memories for generations of local German-Americans and other area residents. In 1870, the Davenport Schützengesellschaft (later called the Schützen Verein) created this "Schützenpark"

Vander Veer Botanical Park

Historic botanical park with conservatory and growing house, outdoor gardens, fountains, and sculpture. Nationally recognized rose garden and Hosta Glade, and the largest public rose garden in the Quad Cities. Admission fee for conservatory only.
